Over the last 10 years we have helped 120,000 women and children, trained more than than 500 nurses and doctors, safely delivered more than 10,000 babies and performed over 6500 Fistula surgeries in Africa. £1000 pays for life-changing fistula care including surgery, rehabilitation and community reintegration
£200 pays for a solar station helping a patient create her own income and sustainable future
£50 pays for a fistula patient's education in literacy and numeracy during their stay
£2 pays for a day's meals. We feed patients 3 healthy meals a day, designed to help them build their strength
When Mercy Ships decided not to continue its land-based fistula project in Sierra Leone in May 2008, FFF was born. We have expanded our services considerably since then. Follow our road to Freedom on the timeline below.
