We are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivator to lead fundraising activities to help our projects in Africa that support more than 20,000 women and children every year.
A compassionate and driven individual, with a desire to help the poorest women and children in the world, you will be motivated to drive a range of fundraising activities to benefit our Freedom From Fistula and Kenya Children’s Home charities that support health and education projects in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Madagascar and Kenya.
With a minimum of three years fundraising experience, you will be outgoing and personable with the ability to mix with a wide range of donors and organisations. You will be skilled in identifying and developing fundraising income streams to maximise income and have a good understanding of different donor groups and how to motivate them. Experience in grant writing is desirable.
A focused and goal-oriented individual, you will have the ability to work under your own steam, as well as within a team, and be adaptable to changing circumstances within the projects we support. The ability to attend evening and weekend commitments on behalf of the charities is essential.
