May 23rd marks International Day to End Obstetric Fistula

May 23rd is International Day to End Obstetric Fistula - a global day to significantly raise awareness and intensify actions towards ending obstetric fistula.

Our teams in Africa will be marking the day in a variety of ways and we'll be sharing their photos/videos on social media throughout the day.

EXCITING NEWS! Our founder, Ann Gloag, has pledged to match donations given on May 23rd (to the value of £350,000) which will allow us to raise a significant amount of money.  Donations support our work in Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone and Madagascar, where we provide good quality maternal healthcare, fistula surgeries and transform the lives of women and girls suffering from this horrendous condition.

On the 23rd we will be asking for YOUR donations so please do dig deep, hold a coffee morning or pledge to go without your morning coffee this week and donate what you would have spent. Every penny counts and as it'll be matched by our founder, you really will be making a huge difference to a woman, suffering today, in Africa.
